The graph below shows the Alcohol-related deaths in 7 different
countries and the average beer consumption in 2002.The table compares 7 countries in terms of fatal accidents due to alcohol in 2005 as well as the amount of beer these countries consumed in 2002
Overall, Czech Republic accounted for the greatest number of both alcohol-related deaths and beers consumption per capita. In addition, the figures of male involving in fatal accidents outnumbered those of female.
In 2005, Czech Republic, Germany were two countries that witnessed the most deaths caused by alcohol with the figure at 1.369.000 and 1.185.000 respectively, which was followed by that of Austria at 913.000 and Ireland at 582.000. Simultaneously, the highest average consumption of beer in 2002 belonged to Czech Republic at 132 liters. The three remaining countries drank this beverage slightly less but the figures were still over 100 liters per person.
In contrast, the number of Canada citizens who died for alcohol reason was half as many as that of Germany, at 582.000 people. Only 383.000 deaths were recorded in Estonia, compared to 125.000 in Lithuania with consumed beer at 91 liters per capita. In all 7 countries, the fatal accidents of males surpassed that of counterpart, at least double or more like in Czech Republic with 900.000 of males and 469.000 of femalesAttachments:
