Chữa bài IELTS Task 1
The tables depict the average working hours of full-time and part-time workers in three different countries in the year 2012.
Overall, it is clear that people getting involved in full-time jobs spent more time than part-workers. Also, the average hours that Greek people spent on working were higher than those from other countries.
In terms of full-time workers, Greece was the country which men and women spent their working time the most, at 42.5 hours for men and roughly 40 hours for women. This is followed by the Netherlands with 38 hours for both genders. Additionally, full-time men spent slightly more working time than female workers, at 37.5 hours and 37 hours respectively. Generally, male in full-time employment worked more than female individuals in Europe.
By contrast, this trend was opposite to part-time workers, while European women spent more time on part-time jobs than men. Similarly, the figure for part-time women in the Netherlands was 29.2 hours, which was 0.9 hours higher than that for men. Conversely, men in the UK and Greece had more average working hours in comparison to women, at 30 hours and 29 hours respectively.
