Prison is the common way in most countries to solve the problem of crime. However, a more effective solution is to provide people with a better education. Agree or disagree.
Answer:
Some people believe that giving an excellent education is the good way to reduce rate crime. Personally, i completely disagree with this view. Because I consider that each way has unique advantages to resolve this problem.
On the one hand, I consider that education is effective in dealing with offenders in the society. One reason is that the more well-educated people are, the more knowledge students are armed with. In school, students are armed with the general knowledge of the law so that they will have all aspects of the law. Second reason is that having knowledge of law helps pupils to distinguish between right and wrong acts and they can prepare better to avoiding situations which involve them in crime or becoming a victim.
On the other hand, prison also plays an importance role in tackling crime. Firstly, isolating offenders from the society prevents them from continuing committing a crime. If serious crimes are no longer a danger to the society, people will relax or live in their home more safely. Secondly, offenders must be imprisoned for a period of time and such a punishment for their illegal acts. They will know that they must face loss of freedom as well as social isolation from their family members, friends as well as loved ones if they carry out such a criminal act
In conclusion, I believe that prison is one weapon in fight against crime and having better education is not a good solution to reduce crime rate in the society.
