It is more important for a building to serve a purpose than to look beautiful. Architects shouldn’t worry about producing building as a work of art. Do you agree or disagree?

It is widely argued that buildings should be constructed for a particular aim rather than be a masterpiece. This essay completely disagrees with the statement above for several reasons.
Firstly, well-constructed buildings bring enjoyment to the comminity as a whole. Citizens may find it interesting and relaxing when they take a look at these beautiful buildings. This is because the architecture plays an integral part in making a deep impression on people who acquire a wide knowledge in construction. For example, people are likely to enjoy themselves thoroughly in their lovely home which is designed exactly the same as what they have dreamed of. Thus, this may bring about happiness to every member in the society.
Secondly, the work of art of the architectural houses may help the nations to draw inspiration to the visitors. In other word, tourists would want to visit there more than once to admire the whole architect which attract them profoundly. Therefore, this might permit some areas to gain more income from the foreigners rather than the tax from local inhabitants. As a result, these areas are capable of enhancing the living quality of the people, as well as investing more mordern house styles to serve for the basic human needs from the citizens.
In conclusion, it seems to me that it is more crucial for a building to look nice rather than to be available for some other purposes.
