Some people think individuals are more and more dependent on each other. some people think individuals are more and more independent. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

It is widely argued that whether humans are more and more mature to live on their own or not. While there are benefits to depend on someone, I believe that people nowadays no longer rely much on others for several reasons.
On the one hand, there are benefits when people have a relation to count on. Firstly, they can always make sure that they have support from others, especially when they have to deal with difficult challenges in life. In other words, they can assure in all the steps being made. Furthermore, we are living in a complicated society, which forces people to try hard to earn a living, as well as to meet basic human needs. For instance, youngsters are unable to buy a house themselves due to increase in house prices. Therefore, they may have to rely on their parents or friends for financial help.
On the other hand, I would argue that people are more and more mature to live independently. We are living in a technology based society, which means that citizens might have to familiarize themselves to various seperated situations. In other words, each person must be capable of adapting to new trials since the world is getting more and more tough. Additionally, no one would assist the others for the rest of their life because each person has their own duty to accomplish. Thus, humans may have to fight for their basic needs to achieve their goals rather than ask others for help.
In conclusion, while it may seem reasonable for people to rely on others, it seems to me that they are more independent than ever.
