The best way to solve world’s environment al problem is to increase the cost of fuel. Do you agree or disagree and give your opinion.
People’s opinions differ as to whether or not governments should increase the expense of fuel in order to cope with environmental problems in the world. There are some arguments that it is the most effective way, while I still believe that there are many other practical solutions.
There are two main reasons why human beings assert that the cost of fuel should be risen. Firstly, the ordinary people will tend to use public transports and bicycles more or they will go by foot to the venues. This does help to reduce a significant amount of exhaust and fume discharging into the atmosphere daily. Furthermore, increasing the expense of fossil fuel encourages countries to use more renewable resources, especially developing countries because they cannot afford to buy this resource from other.
In spite of the arguments mentioned above, I support the view that there are much better approaches for governments to apply to their countries. First and foremost, governments should launch campaigns about environmental issues and the ways to deal with them. If people understand this issue profoundly, they will be more aware of what they have been doing and change their habits which are harmful to the environment. Besides, scientists all over the world have been in search for renewable resources with the lowest cost such as solar energy, geothermal power, hydrogen power and so on, therefore both the industrialized world and developing countries can put into practice.
