People’s opinions differ as to whether or not computers are the useful tool for teachers and students to use in education. While some people assert that it can cause many long-term negative effects, I personally believe that computers are important in teaching.
There are three main keys why people argue that computers affect adversely student. Firstly, it can lead to the bad eye-sighting. In particular, students stick their eyes to the computer screen for a long time which can make their eyes tired. If the situation extends day by day, the ability of eyes will be reduced significantly. Secondly, children are easily addicted to online games. Finally, they can have wrong behavior because of exposing to exaggerated news if they do not know how to choose what kinds of news to read.
In spite of these drawbacks mentioned above, I still support the idea that computers contribute to education positively. The main benefit is that computers help students to absorb in a huge knowledge all over the world. Learning English, for example, computers provide a great number of sources that students can utilize. In addition, computers also help them to keep pace with the latest tools or ways in education. Students can search for many methods that pupils in every part of the world apply to their study, and from this, they can choose for themselves the way that suits them most.
In conclusion, it seems to me that the benefits of the use of computers in education outweigh the drawbacks of itself.Attachments:
