An increasing number of people choose to live in big cities. What problems will this bring about? Should the government encourage people to live in small town?
In a developed world, people tend to migrate to big cities in order to seek for themselves new opportunities of good-paid jobs and high-quality ling-condition. However, this issue causes many negative consequences, the government should encourage their citizens to locate in small provinces.
An increasing number of people choosing to live in big cities leads to many adverse effects. Firstly, this can bring about job and housing-related problems. For instance, famers move from countries to cities with a view to searching for a new job often live in slums which are lack sanitation, essential living-condition and also make the scenery of cities ugly. At the same time, the authorities cannot offer enough jobs for people; therefore, the unemployment rate increase significantly and prevent the economy of cities from developing. Secondly, as the reason above, the standard of living will be reduced extremely. Finally, this problem puts pressure on natural resources. In order to meet the requirement of housing, more and more trees are being cut down. This can lead to environmental problems such as flood, drought and green-house effect.
To tackle with this issue, the government should encourage people to live in small towns or countryside because of two reasons. First of all, it can reduce the cost of living. For example, when population is divided equally into many areas, there will not have the lack of essential living-condition, so the cost for them will be declined. Besides, this creates new jobs for unemployees and helps remote-areas to develop. By this way, the process of industrialization will be encouraged equally among areas of a country.
In conclusion, migrating to big cities can bring about many long-term negative effects, so the government should encourage their citizens to live in small provinces and countrysides.Please kindly check1
