Nowadays, many families have both parents working. Some working parents believe other family members like grandparents can take care of their children, while others think childcare centers provide the best care. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
In today busy’s world, parents rarely have time to take care of their children so they need to rely on someone to do that. Many people believe that family members like grandparents are the most suitable for looking after their grandchildren, whereas others believe that childcare organizations are much better options
Having grandparents as baby-minders is greater in many ways. Firstly, old people have more experience in nurturing children. They already raise up their own kids before, they definitely know everything a baby needs to grow up healthily. Secondly, due to blood relationship, children will be well-cherished. Family members always love them unconditionally, and they are willing to devote all their time and effort to look after and protect the kids, which a childcare staff member may not be able to do as dedicated.
On the other hand, there are a variety of reasons why parents tend to choose childcare centers. Firstly, all staff member in those centers are professional, and have good child-rearing skills, especially when there are any accidents or unsafe circumstances, they will be able to provide children with the best treatment as they have gone through many situations like that while family members may not know what to do in those cases. Secondly, childcare organizations can help children develop social skills. At those places, children will have chance to meet a lot of children at the same age and they will soon start the friendships. Therefore, they will have good intercommunication skills. If kids stay at home with family members, they will soon get bored and become lonely.
In conclusion, it seems evident that both family members and childcare centers, each have their own advantage to the development of children. However, I believe that class environment along with professional staff in babysitting skills, childcare organizations are better choices for parents.
