Chữa bài IELTS Task 2
Some people think that work is the most important thing of people’s life. Without the success of career, life become meaningless. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
While it is argued that without a distinguished career, lives would be incomplete, I strongly believe that health and family should be considered to be equally important.
On the one hand, work plays a crucial role in everyone’s life. Obviously, without having a job, we will not be able to sustain our basic demands in life such as food or compulsory fees including water, electricity and tuition. Besides allowing us to meet material demands, successful people often receive widespread recognition from others in their daily life. As a matter of fact, when you have high social status, you would certainly feel more respected and valued.
On the other hand, I contend there are more desirable goals than a successful career to attain in our life. Firstly, having to shoulder the burden from maintaining their long-lasting achievements, these people could easily suffer from the overwhelming of workload, tremendous mental stress and physical exhaustion. This tendency would possibly lead to the declination in health. Hence, when we get to earn enough money, we do not have health to enjoy our prosperity. Secondly, work could make us sometimes forget about the role of looking after our families as we have to devote all of our time and effort to the job. However, people may not understand that no matter how much respect we gain form our colleagues, family members are the only one who would be willing to support and love us forever.
In conclusion, the role of career in our lives cannot be denied. However, there are still a lot of significant factors that can lead us to a happy life and we need to balance them with work to fulfil our lives.
