Task 2: In the modern world, people are no longer necessary to use food from animals or product from animals such as medicine and clothing. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is believed that these day, thanks to various advances and breakthroughs in science and technology, it is unnescessary to use products from animals like food, clothing items even medicine. In my opinion, I find it hard to consider this argument compeletely reasonable or not.
To begin with, due to the technological advancement, a new method producing meat is brought into the world, which is the lab-grain meat. This product has been reported to provide to a ediquate proteins and nutriens and become a viable alternative to animals-based meals. Secondly, nowadays, clothes made of synthetic materials ranging from plastics to vegetable fiber are more popular than that of animal’s fur or skin. This is because the artificial stuff have the cheaper cost but the same or better quality with natural matrials. Finally, in the age of science, there are a plenty of experiments producing effective medicine in the laboratories. Therefore using animal for medicine no longer play important role in the medical field like in the past.
However, from other perspectives, animal is still an essential source of many things. Firstly, the product made in the labs will have the high price and it is unaffordable for everyone. Besides, in some developing countries such as Vietnam, it takes very long time about more 10 years to build the coherent laboratory system which aims to supply enough food for above 90 million populations. Secondly, it is undeniable that the materials from animal like feather or skin can make the costumes unique and outstanding absolutely, which is the thing other objects are unable to do. Moreover, in some places, medicine from animal is a common traditional practice and have high efficiency. For example, bear gall or venom applyed to treat the problems about joint or muscles.
In conclusion, for many reasons mentioned above, I believe that it depends on each situations, animal will become a necessary source or can be replaced by others to be more effective.
