It is obvious that in working age people, who are from 20 to under 65, play the crucial role in the economy of all nations. When one third of the population retired, governments should soon take action to eliminate such bad sign to reduce impact on the economy due to the lack of labor workforce, which is likely to happen in developed countries. The temporary solution that firms can take into account is shifting their businesses into other nations which have golden age distribution such as Asian countries. Nevertheless, such actions make the country’s economic situation slow down and soon to be less competitive. For example, the population of some European nations have been becoming older and then they started shifting their developments to China who has enormous labor resource, their economy have began slowing down and now left behind China.

Attracting highly skilled workers from other nations could be the practical solution, which Canada is implementing and has the successful testimony in recent years. Skilled workers can refrain businesses inside countries as well as attract outside investments. Moreover, these immigrants once they have integrated into the community could also increase birth rate and then rebalance the age distribution of these places. This implementation is creating a new trend that many high-income nations are following such the US, European countries.
