Chữa bài IELTS Task 2
Đề bài: Is freedom of speech necessary in a free society ?
Today, in this new era, any person can also contribute their ability to the society and easiest way to do that is freedom of speech to make the community becomes better. Personally, I partly agree with this opinion.
To begin with, contributing ideas freely brings various options to solve the problem. When we meet a complicate issue, one individual cannot solve this entirely. What we need are ideas, suggestions from the people share the same concern. Then people will use their understandings about that problem and think about solutions to get over it. This is very useful especially in the 21[st] century, whenthe citizens get basic knowledge from school so that they are able to understand deeply all issues in the society. In some case, those solutions can be sufficient and suitable to get through the problem once and for all.
Nevertheless, having too much opinions about one issue can lead to conflict. In detail, we are not able to avoid opposite ideas about one problem, furthermore individuals do not want to to listen to the others so eventually tension is unpreventable. In addition to this, people cannot just speak out loud their thoughts without thinking clearly. Some negative phenomenons can be very difficult to deal with, so if the residents do not think carefully and just speak out their simple thoughts, the problem cannot be solved entirely and the the society can become more confuse and it even lead to worse outcomes in some case.
To sum up, freedom in speech is a good thing in this new world but I just agree with one part of this opinion. Individuals should know their positions as well as have deeply knowledge to discuss in order to resolve any phenomenon.
