Some people say that computer games are bad for children by all means;
others believe that these games contribute to children’s development.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Nowadays, an increasing number of people are concerned about the role of
computer games in our lives. However, wether we should play games or not is
a controversial issue. In my opinion, I completely agree that computer
games are detrimental effects on children.

On the one hand, some people argues that computer games promote children’s
growth. It is undeniable that games have been used to train people to type,
to overcome phobias, develop motor skills, teach problem solving, release
tension and even exercise. Besides, there are several intelligent games
such as Quiz or Remember, which empowers children to develop their mental
agility. For instance, my brother are likely to make strides in the
solution of difficult problems in the labour market owing to spending 1
hours per day playing Quiz games on his computer.

On the other hand, there are two fundamental reasons why computer games
negatively influence on children. Firstly, it is obvious that computer
games can be addictive and time-consuming because of creative pictures,
interesting music, competition, request of thinking ability and children
usually expose too much on them. As a result, they donot have enough time
for their studies, which leads their academic performances to be worse.
Secondly, exposure to technological devices for a long term will lead to a
deterioration in health because the waves from wifi as well as computers
will affect their brains as well as their eyes. Indeed, for example, there
is a huge number of Vietnamese students are sufferring from headache and
eye-shortened due to playing computer games.

In conclusion, I believe that computer games can positively boost
children’s development, but this can be a self-harm if we cannot control
our time spending on it.
