Nowadays the differences between countries are becoming less evident because we see the same TV shows, advertisements, fashion and follow the same brands. To what extent the advantages of this trend outweigh its disadvantages?
Globalization has become one of the most controversial issues recently since the distinctions between countries are fading. In my opinion, I would argue that the benefits of this trend outweigh its drawbacks due to several reasons while few mortals dissent with it.
On the one hand, we cannot underestimate disadvantages of globalization. Firstly, many communities failed to preserve their old tradition, custom, and culture in the context of globalization. For example, many languages which represent the culture of a country have become endangered languages or disappeared as people have a tendency to learn English, a global language. Moreover, the economy of countries around the world is inter-connected because of globalization. As the consequence, economic downfall of one major economic nation adversely affects the entire global community, which is called domino effect.
On the other hand, it is undeniable the sake of globalization. Initially, trade between countries could be improved thanks to this trend as globalization help the governments of countries create the intimate relationship. As the result, owing to globalization, the economy of a country could be advanced, the living standard of citizens is improved and more jobs are created. Furthermore, the barriers in culture between countries could be reduced since the word now become one village where everybody sees the same TV shows, fashion and follows the same brands. Consequently, an individual might not suffer the culture shock and fell everywhere like home.
In conclusion, I believe that human being receives more benefits from globalization than disadvantages due to some ideas that I have mentioned above.Please find the corrected version attached and feel free to let me know if you have any question.
