There is an increase in the number of tours to isolated areas these days. This essay believes that it leaves favourable impacts not only on the locals by creating more job opportunities but also on the environment by investing the profits gained from tourists to protect the surroundings.
First of all, thanks to the rise in tourism, a wide range of job opportunities would be available for local residents in the remoted places where the flood of tourists visits. Specifically, as the growth in the demand of accommodations and food, hotels and restaurants will be established, leading to the need of several staff serving there. Furthermore, local inhabitants could become tour guides to introduce their homeland to foreigners. As a result, the unemployment rate in those places is likely to be reduced dramatically and local people will be able to increase their income levels.
The popularity of remote-area travelling can also be beneficial over the environment. This is to say that the amount of money collected from travelers could be utilized to preserve the environment. In fact, the budget allows the government to organize public campaigns educating tourists about the dangers of destroying natural places. Additionally, using that money, environmental issues can be prevented. To illustrate, in mountainous areas, forests can be planted more to maintain the primitive beauty of the place and to remain the habitats of wild animals as well. In coastal areas, more social workers can be hired to clean the beaches regularly.
In conclusion, I believe that nowadays, more and more people visit remote places, and this results in advantageous effects on both the environment and local people.Attachments:
