Essay: when choosing a job, salary is the most important consideration. To what extent, do you agree or disagree?
Today, money is big attraction to everyone. So for some people, they think that the salary is the most important element when they choose any job. I partly agree with this statement.
Salary is an essential consideration to choose job for following reasons. Firstly, high wage help you ensure a good standard of living. You can spend money on consuming whatever you like without thinking carefully about the rest money you will have. Furthermore, you can buy goods as well as services with the best quality. Or improving your life by travelling abroad, enjoying yourself. Secondly, it represents for power and status, then, you will be respected by people surrounding you. And finally, high salary is the strongest motivation to help you work more industriously, more loyalty to your boss and company as well.
Apart from salary, I think other factors are also inevitable to consider. For some people, even though you get high salary, you are not satisfied with you job and don’t have great passion to do, I bet that you haven’t done this work for a long time. Moreover, people who are working for non – government, non – profit organizations, or who love volunteering, salary is not the most important consideration because they want their contribution toward societies.
In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, whether the salary is the most important element or not depends on each person’s opinion.
