Task 2
It has been proved that smoking kills. In some countries it has been made illegal for people to smoke in all public places except in certain areas. All countries should make these rules.

It has been warned that smoking dangers people’s health. Therefore, in some countries, smoking is only allowed in certain areas and is entirely banned in all public places. I totally agree with the view that all countries over the world should apply this restriction.
There are a number of reasons that people should not smoke in public areas. Firstly, it has been approved that smoke from cigarettes affects not only directly smokers but also indirectly non-smokers. A statistics report recently published by Ministry of Health regarding lung diseases has shown that the number of citizens diagnosed of lung cancer due to absorbing indirectly smoke spread over the air has increased significantly in the last two years. Hence, allowing smoking at any place in the society will damage the health of whole population and as a result, the medical industry will be suffered an extremely huge costs from treatment of those diseases. Secondly, limitation of smoking areas would demotivate smokers to stick with this bad habit. When they find inconvenient to smoke, they will gradually reduce the frequency of smoking which benefits to their health in the long run. In addition, lung cancer due to smoking is ranked one of the top three cancer diseases, so by restricting smoking places would definitely help smokers to quit smoking to improve their wellness.
Apart from the benefits of banning smoking in public areas expressed above, I do believe this rule will enable the country to save a countable amount of money from treatment costs of lung diseases and to reduce the loss incurred for less productive performance caused by smoker employees.
In summary, I believe that restriction of smoking areas will benefit both smokers and the society in the long term. By doing so would all people able to live a longer healthy life.
