2. It is better for college students to live far away from home than live at home with their parents. Do you agree or disagree?

People have diverse views about whether students should live on campus or live with their family. I believe that living in the dormitory has a variety of benefits for students.

There are many appropriate reasons to encourage students to live far away from home. The main reason is that they may become more independent in their life. Firstly, students who live in dormitories have to take care of themselves in all aspects of lives. For instance, they should know how to balance their finance through daily expenses from chores, meals to transport fare, electric bills and so on. Secondly, students who live alone may learn self-organizing from practical situations. It means that they have to make the plan for all month and initial it by themselves with out other advice.

Additional, It is obvious that students who choose living on campus may have more chances to expand their social relationships. Firstly, they can do a part-time job if they can arrange the suitable time. Not only will this make students more confident and have more friends from many places but it also may bring advantages to their job in the future. Secondly, they can easily enjoy some extracurricular activities on campus. For example, there are some exchange trips traveling to different countries to acknowledge and then make a report so that they may work with people from culturally diverse backgrounds and enrich knowledge. Apparently, jumping to the society is always the most effective approach to learn from the real lesson.

In conclusion, as some reasons are shown above, living inside the campus is apparently a better choice than living at home.
