Tobacco is a kind of drug. People have been free to use it. Some people think that it should illegal to use it to compare with other drugs. To what extent do you agree or disagree. What is your opinion?
We cannot refuse that tobacco is the reason cause thousands of diseases include cancer as well as cirrhosis of the liver for human being. Some people content that individual should be allowed to smoke freely while some think that using tobacco should be prohibit like other drugs due to harmful effects on human health. In my opinion I completely agree with this statement that banning tobacco would provide many tremendous benefits
It is irrefutable that tobacco products, especially cigarettes could cause lung cancer, heart disease and larynx cancer. In fact, there are four million people die from smoking each year and one person in each ten seconds. Although passive smokers are at twice the risk compared with direct smokers, especially pregnant and children. In addition, smoking will have negative impacts on youngsters. Its mean that they spend a lot of money to buy tobacco, when they do not have enough money they will steal or rob someone else’s money.
In spite of that, tobacco company supports a great source of income for the country. Several countries get high tax from this type of product in order to develop their society. If tobacco industry becomes illegal or be banned in the future, these countries would decrease a huge income for their country. Furthermore, cigarette company reduces significantly homeless as well as helping poor people or people who have lower income to earn more money from the tobacco industry. For instance, there are ten millions of people escape from unemployment and have a better standard of living.
In conclusion, there are some tremendously benefit that we get from tobacco in general and the tobacco industry in private. I believe that there are more harm than good , tobacco should be banned or illegal in using due to negative effects for human being .
