More people than ever before are traveling to other countries now. Why? Is this a positive development or negative development?

It is a fact that a great number of dwellers are more inclined to visit overseas than before. There are some important factors which account for this trend, and I consider it to be a largely positive development.

There are two fundamental reasons why more residents now travel to foreign nations. The average income of the people is now higher than in the past, they could easily purchase round-trip tickets and book accommodations in advance. For example, a package trip to Thailand may cost only 200 dollars, which is reasonably priced for middle-income citizens and even the young, making it become the most prevalent international destination for Vietnamese people. Additionally, thanks to technological advancements, international flights are more effective and less time-consuming, eliminating long-distance obstacle when visiting other nations. Tourists can reach places hundreds of miles away with just a few hours of flying.

I believe that the growth of global tourism could bring favorable impacts to both local zones and holidaymakers. Firstly, the more tourists pay visits to their homeland, the more tourism-related services might be expanded. Therefore, locals can seize several decent job opportunities such as opening a hotel, entertainment services or working as tour guides, making a substantial contribution to the prosperity of their local zone. Secondly, it facilitates locals to enhance their knowledge of the cultural diversities by organizing multicultural activities or make acquaintances with foreign visitors. Finally, holidaymakers could have the chance to broaden their understanding and have exciting experiences through visiting historical constructions, trying loads of delectable cuisines or learning indigenous practices.

In conclusion, the tendency of citizens to conduct international trips could be because of the reasons mentioned above, which positively affects local areas and tourists.
