Do you agree or disagree with this statement? The wealth gap between 1st world countries and 3rd world countries seems to be increasing. How can we reduce this gap? Do you think that developed countries have a duty to assist developing countries in every way?

In recent times, the gap between wealthy and poor countries has been the limelight and has aroused wide concern for debatable effects associated with it. It is generally considered that this alarming space is getting more expansive. I firmly agree with the aforesaid statement on account of various below reasons and numerous measures can be taken to tackle this issue. From my perspective, I am convinced that developed countries have their responsibility to help developing countries in every way.

There is no disputing the fact that the gap from poor to wealthy nations is increasing significantly annually on various sides. While the living standard of Western countries is improving dramatically, many nations in Africa do not have enough vital facilities or materials, even food, and water in daily life. Some countries such as the United States of America or England can achieve the enormous goals namely exploring space or nuclear weapon’s experiments, the other side of the coin, numerous nations like South Africa still struggle to address the inadequate water or decrease the starvation.

Developed countries should cover less improving nations in every way due to myriad reasons. In recent years, globalization can affect every countries’ economy. For instance, in 2015, not only did the collapsion of Greece government affect Europe countries’ economy, but it also made some wealthy countries namely China and The United States of America was worried about. Moreover, if developed countries invest for less improving nations, they can create indirect potential markets such as labor or foreign exchange market. Therefore, the global economy will be enhancing dramatically.

In the face of escalating perils from the wider wealth gap between first and third world countries, some workable solutions can be applied to mitigate the problem. The first practical measure at the moment is to assist the less improving countries by the financial fund of both other governments and international organizations. Developed nations should support by vital materials like drinking water or food and invest the potential project such as the renewable energy production. In addition, students from less improving countries should be fostered go study abroad in wealthy countries by giving them financial aid. By way of illustration, Japan authority provides numerous scholarships for talented Vietnamese students annually.

In conclusion, in the light of aforementioned factors, I certainly believe that the gap between wealthy and poor nations is wider. Developed countries have their responsibility to cover less improving nations in every way. In order to tackle the problem, solutions such as providing material or financial support for developing countries should be carried out.
