It is neither possible nor useful for a country to provide university places for a high proportion of young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
A number of citizens ask the government to give university access to the young. However, there are still a lot of people, including me, put forward the view that this is not only impossible but also worthless.
Firstly, governments, especially those in the poor countries, seem hard to seek for finance to give a large number of people coming to universities. It is the fact that in these nations, the authorities and their people are struggling to meet the basis needs namely food, clothes, electricity, and even primary and high schools. When the fundamental requirements do not meet, as a result, they could not put higher education to spend their tax.
Secondly, it appears to be useless to allow almost the youngsters to get access to universities. Apparently, the more people enter universities or colleges, the less people choose to go to vocational trainings because of traditional thinkings about the higher level from a university certificate. The predictable consequence could be the unbalance in the work force when there are adequate professors but inadequate laborers, which then as a knock-on effect, the country had to face another problems such as how to call for manual workers from abroad and how to deal with social problems related to them. Eventually, there is no point opening university entrance to everyone.
To sum up, unless a country is rich, its financial supports is solid, or it is redundant of high qualified work force, the governments and their people should not offer higher education at large.[8/9/2017, 6:50:11 PM] Cám ơn các bạn!
