Writing Task 2: Some people say that the best way to improve public health
is by increasing the number of sports facilities. Others, however, say that
this would have little effect on public health and that other measures are
required.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

People have different views about whether rising the quantity of sport
facilities is the optimal measure to make our health better. I believe that
this would make a negligible impact on our health and some other solutions
should be taken to tacke the problem.

The sport facilities would make no considerable impact on people’s health.
A reason is that the sport construction amenities only can only serve the
sport events in terms of purpose and capacity. For example: the stadium is
more suitable for holding a football match with thousands of audiences or
celebrating a sport festival for competition and solidarity than a place
for people to work out. In addition, the location of the sport construction
required to be spacious which can only be found in the suburb, and this is
quite inconvenient for the residents to go there and get training.

The public health can be greatly improved by a number of solutions.
Firstly, cost which is instead of pouring into constructing the sport
facilities should be allocated to building hospital, clinic and especially,
training doctors, nurse and to some other disease preventive programs.
Secondly, our authorities should raise awareness of people to do periodical
health check-up to find out and treat serious illness at early stage.
Lastly, some preferential policies should be made for volunteer doctors to
work in remote, rural or mountainous areas to lower the rate of getting
illness because of lack of doctor or poor medical conditions.

In conclusion, a number of solutions should be applied instead of building
sport amenities in order to make our public health better.
