The bar chart provides information about the number of U.K university students over a period of 4 years starting in 1997, the line graph and the pie chart illustrate the government expenditure on each student and the proportion of students by family background respectively.
Overall, the number of students learning in U.K universities experienced an upward trend, while the figure for money spent on every student by the government decreased. Also, most students came from high income families.
Observing the bar chart, the data for U.K university students was roughly 1.3 million. The figure for these students reached the highest point of just under 2 million in 2000 before declining gradually to approximately 1.75 million as the period wrapped up in 2001.
Looking at the graph, the amount of money spent on every student by the government decreased considerably from 600 in 1997 to around 120 in 2000. After that, the datar for the government budget spent on each student remained unchanged util the next year.
The pie chart describe that the figure for students living in high income families was highest, at 60%, which was followed by that for families with medium income, at 32%. Also, 8% of students came from low income families.Attachments:
