The two maps illustrate the changes that occurred in the village of Stokeford between 1930 and 2010.
Overall, it was noticed that that River Stoke and the bridge remained stable in the time given, with an exception for most others in the village throughout the survey given.
During the 10 year period, Stokeford witnessed dramatic shifts. Firstly, in the east of the hamlet, the gardens were cleared to make way to the new retirement home, which was built in place of the old large house. Besides, a nearby primary school was almost doubled in size, while the key house in the Southeast direction was in the same place from 1930 to 2010.
In 1930, the farmlands in the Northeast and as well the Southwest were flattened and they were turned into residential places with recent roads being constructed in 2010. Over the same place, the next noticeable feature is that the post office remained unchanged, whereas the government removed the shop next to this office and replaced them with new residential area.
