The diagrams illustrate the process of producing glass containers and recycling used glass.

It is clear from the first diagram, there are 3 stages to produce glass. Meanwhile, to reprocess used glass requires 4 steps.

The first diagram begins with sand, soda ash, limestone and other chemicals being mixed together. In the next step, that mixture is brought into a glass furnace and melted under high temperature, at approximately 1500″C. Then, an artisan will use a molten glass blowing to shape it in the consistent forms. The final products are ready for displaying and selling.

Moving to the recycling process, the first step is collecting used glass containers at some scrap yards. After that, they are classified into several groups of colour. The following stage is washing those glass containers to remove impurities. Finally, they are crushed by a crusher and melted to become the mixture like before and ready to be moulded into new products.
