The given table compares the proportion of people using different features on their mobile phone from 2006 to 2010.
In general, throughout the period given, the main reason why people used their own mobile was to call each other. Nevertheless, there was a significant increase in the popular of the other features; especially the internet search.
In 2006, 100% of mobile phone owners using their modern technique to make calls, while the second widespread features in this group were sending text messages and taking photographs, with 73% and 66% respectively. By contrast, there was fewer people than one-fifth of mobile users playing games and music. Furthermore, there was no data on searching the Internet by their own phone.
In the 4 following years, there was a slightly change in these figures of the most 3 popular mobile functions; however, the percentage of accessing the Internet had a sharp jump of 41% in 2008 and reached 73% in the 2 following years. Similarly, there was also a considerable rise in 2 other features such as playing games and recording video in 2010, with 41% and 35% respectively.
