The diagrams below show the life cycle of a species of large fish called the salmon.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pictures illustrate the life cycle of a species of large fish, namely salmon. Overall, there are three main stages in this cycle, beginning with salmon eggs and ending with salmon adults.
Initially, the eggs are laid in the upper river where the flow moves slowly and these eggs can be found among the small stones under the reeds. After about 5 and 6 months, they hatch and become fry with 3-8 cm long. Next, the fry move to the lower river where the water flows faster and live in there nearly 4 years. At this stage, these fish are called smolt and their bodies enlarge a length of 12-15 cm.
Eventually, the smolt migrate into the open sea where they can experience with the stream being more turbulent. At this point, they continue to live in this area and grow up adult salmon of 70-76 cm in length after approximately 5 years. And then, they find mates and return to the upper river to produce new eggs. After finishing all stages, the life cycle of salmon begins again.
