Some people think that it is more beneficial to take part in sports which are played in teams like Football, while other people think that taking part in individual sports, like tennis or swimming is better. Discuss both views and give your own opinions.
It is argued that people will gain more benefits when engaging in team sports such as football. Other people think that it is better to participate in solo sports like swimming and golf. I personally agree with the first group.
On the one hand, there are some plausible reasons why people think that individual sports has more advantages. The first reason is that players who choose to play solo sports might have the opportunity to develop their independence. This is because there would be no one help them during play time which force them to think indepently and make their own decisions. Those who play in a team, by contrast, often recieve support from team members which might discourage them from develop independence. Another reason is that players can develop the self-esteem when they are joining in these sports such as golf or swimming. The success of the sports games depend primarily on their own effort and concentration. As a result, they have to make every possible effort to gain success.
On the other hand, i would argue that it is more beneficial to join in sports which are played in teams. Firstly, team sports teach sportsmen some valuable life lessons that other sports could not provide. Taking football as an example, there are more than ten people play in team, they then have to learn how to work well with each other and sacrifice themselver for the team’s common goal. Secodly, they also be taught how to sharpen the leadership skill which is an important skill in the modern life. To be the leader of the team, they have to have the ability to lead the teams not only in sports games but also build the solidarity between team members.
In conclusions, it is undeniable that individual sports can make sports players to be more independent and decisive. However, i firmly hold the view that team sports cam bring much more benefist for players.[4/5/2019, 9:30:01 AM] Cám ơn các bạn!
