Many fathers today stay at home and take care of their children while
mothers go out to work. What are the causes of this? Is this a positive or
negative development?

Nowadays, there is a tendency that many husbands often spend more time at
home on taking care of their children while wifes are becoming the
breadwinner of families. Personally, I strongly think that there are many
reasons relating to this positive trend.

It is undeniable that today woman can play an important role in the
society’s development. Indeed, they are possible equal in intelligence as
well as scholastic than men. For example, many mothers definitely meet
higher level qualification and fully afford to face to high pressure on
heavy workload. More importantly, women have ability to get strong finance
while the men cannot seek a good job. The women’s incomes certainly make
significant contributions to help their homes pay for accommodation and
food fee. Besides, they can work straight after giving a birth without
having any health problem. Therefore, the local authorities would foster
them participate in social working than before.

This development really brings more advantage for not only women but also
their also their families and society. Last years ago, many citizens
probably thought a mother should stays at home and brings up their son.
However, when this notion gradually changes which creates more
opportunities for many mothers to continue careers and pursue their dreams
in the future. In addition, when share their parenting responsibilities,
husbands and wifes can ease financial pressure and the burden of housework
each other. Especially, the taking part in working of many mothers can
indicate the appearance of gender equality in the world and generate the
balance in community currently.

In conclusion, there are some causes which lead to men stay at home to look
after instead of woman and it can bring more advantages for many people.
