Because of improved technologies in communication and transport, people in some countries can now choose to live and work anywhere they want. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

It is widely argued that whether civilians living in developed nations are able to decide their living and working places as the advancement of technologies. While there are some disadvantages towards this point of view, I believe that its advantages are more significant.
On the one hand, I contend that this improvement has some beneficial aspects. The first one is that cutting-edge means of communication bring us closer. Nowdays, people might find it simple to contact their counterparts for either business or relaxation. With the help of messenger, facebook and some other methods, contacting to the others is no longer a strunggle. Furthermore, it is much more easier for individuals to travel to any far-off destinations since there are various choices for transport. For instance, a business man can now choose a flight ticket instead of travelling by car, which is extremely faster and more convenient.
On the other hand, advances in communication and transportation have some drawbacks. Firstly, this development is likely to discourage real interaction with people around us. This is because people may prefer to use modern tools such as smartphones or computers instead of talking face-to-face with the others. Secondly, this development may create a high pressure on the poor. For example, public transportations would raise the ticket prices due to the fact that money has been invested more and more to upgrade these kinds of transport, which costs the poor more money regularly
In conclusion, it seems to me that the benefits of this improvement undoubtedly outweight the minor backdraws, which can be solved by several ways.
