The bar chart below illustrated how many boys and girls played in the most prevalent sports in Newzealand in 2002
Overall, there are 6 types of sports which most boys chose. And girls prefered playng athletics, netball and swimming than others.
At first, the most popular sport was football which the most boys chose rate at one per fourth. The following was that cricket and marital arts were chosen, with respective over 10% and 8%. Next, the percentage of tennis and basketball were as same as, at approximately 7%. And, the lowest common is netball, with just over 1%. finally. others was covered approximately 20% of players.
On the other hand, there are over 25% of girls playing netball which is the most prevalent. In contrast, the number if players playing cricket was the lowest, at around 1%. Next, the figure for basketball and tennis were around from 6% to 7%, while that for athletics and soccer were approximately 4%. And, 3% of girls chose marital. The last one is that other sport was covered exactly 10%
