The bar chart shows the results of a survey of the reading habits of male and female first year university students at a university in the UK. The pie charts show the amount of time male and female students spend on various activities.

The figures illustrate the proportion of male and female students in different activities such as studying, reading and working. It is clear from the date that female students spend a mount time to read books than male students. Moreover, male and female students have different habits for working, socializing, studying or sports.

According to the first chart nearly 90% male students read tabloids. In fiction aspect, both female and male student are like reading this kind of book, 72% and 78%, respectively. Meanwhile, female students just over three times of the percentage of male students in non-fiction books. A majority activities of female students are studying which accounts for 60%. We can see in this pie chart that female students do not want to play sports.

On the other hand men students are prefer doing exercises than women which represents at 25%. Additionally, Male students has approximately the same the proportion of socializing as female students, 15% and 10%, respectively.
