The chart below shows the percentage of male and female teachers in six different types of educational setting in the UK in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates data on the proportion of men and women who taught in six different educational systems in the UK in the year 2010.
Overall, mostly women hold positions at schools, whereas men mainly taught at university.
The highest figure for women was seen in nursery ( nearly 100%), which was also the highest point in the whole bar chart; meanwhile the percentage of men in this area was at the lowest, at about 2%. The rate of women teaching at primary school was approximately 90%, while that of male teachers was only 4%. Besides, about 52% of the women taught in secondary school compared to 48% for the men’s data.
Most of men became teachers at the other three kinds of educational setting. The highest position for men’s figure was 68%, at university. By contrast, there were only 30% women teaching here. The year 2010 saw a small difference between the percentage of private training institute which the proportion of men was at 54%, 2% higher than that of women. The UK also experienced a notable exception of college, which was the same at approximately at 50% in both groups.
