The figure shows the percentage of people in the UK enjoying radio and television daily in December 1992. In total, the ratio of television viewers was nearly double the radio listener one, however the former had much more audients than the latter in the morning and this trend was almost opposite afternoon.
From 6AM to 1PM, the percentage of radio listeners started much higher roughly 9% before increasing significantly to reach a peak of 28% at 8AM then gradually decreasing back to 25%. However, there was a fluctuating increase in the ratio of televisions audiences, starting below 2% to that same level.
During the rest of the day, the latter kept going up dramatically to its highest level at 45% around 8PM followed by a dive diving afterward and even below the rate of the radio listeners after 2PM. While its figure remained to decrease gradually except a slight rise from 4PM to 6PM before back to its main trend.
