Overall, women tend to buy more albums than men. In addition, there is a similar trend in the percentage of customers who buy pop and rock music while it is opposite in case of classical music.
The percentage of women buying pop music is about 22% and exactly 30% for rock music, compare to men, those figure are just 14% and 17% respectively. People age from 25 to 34 years old have the highest proportion in buying pop and rock music, 26% and 32% respectively, while the lowest is for people in over 45 aged group.
In terms of classical music, nearly 10% of women buy the albums, this is nearly two times higher than men, 6%. It is noticeable that the percentage of people in both 16-24 and 35-44 aged groups buying classical music are under 3% compare to around 26% buying pop music and nearly 31% buying rock music, a difference of appropriate 10 times.Attachments:
