The pie chart below show the main reason why agricultural land become less productive. The table shows how these causes affected three regions of the world during the 1990s.
Summary the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparison where relevant.

The world wide land degradation is decreasing due to many reason. The main reason comes from over – grazing. People let the cows, goats and other animals eat the grass on the fields. It affects and makes the agricultural land less productive 35%. While 11.3% comes from Oceania, 5.5% from Europe and less in North America – 1.5%. 30% is because of deforestation, in which, Europe takes 9.8% versus 1.7% of Oceania and 0.2% in North America. Trees are cut down for different purpose of human: making paper, construction, produce furnitures, etc. Forest fire also cause deforestation beside cutting tree. Besides that, over-cultivation takes 28% with 11.3% in Oceania, 5.5% in Europe and 1.5% in North America.
Overall, the percentage land deraded by North America is highest – 23%, then 13% in Oceania and lowest , 5% in North America. The numbers above show the fact that Oceania develops stock-raising when Europe focus on areable farming and also not good at protect world wideland from deforestation.
