The first bar chat gives information about spending on healthcare and education in the UAE between 1985 and 1993, while the given line graph compares infant mortality and life expectancy over a period of 22 years.
Overall, the UAE spent more money on education than health and the proportions of the expenditure on both these items increased over the period shown. Additionally, the number of the infant mortality dropped dramatically, whereas the life expectancy of people rose slightly.
In 1985, around 7.8% of the UAE budget paid out for health, compared to about 6.6% in the year 1990. This figure increased significantly in 1993, at nearly 10%. In terms of education, the government spend exactly 10% of the budget in 1985. The expenditure on this field went up to over 14% after 5 years and peaked at 16% in 1993.
According to the line graph, about 70 out of 1000 babies were died in 1970. This figure decreased considerably in 1992 which was nearly one third as much as that in 1970, at only 20. While the life expectation was virtually 60 years in 1970, it rose to over 70 years in 1992.Attachments:
