Despite being a drug and free to use, someone believe that tobacco should be banned when contrasting with other drug. I completely agree with this idea. I shall put forth my arguments to support my views.
There are a variety of reason why tobacco is thought to be statutory. The most detrimental effects of cigarette smoke are not just on the active smokers but also on their families, friends, work and society. Firstly, smoking tobacco gives the smokers a high chance of an early grave due to lung disease and other health problems. Secondly, considering pregnant women who are extremely vulnerable, if they have actively or passively smoked, a huge consequences could occur unexpectedly, such as the developing congenital defeats of their children. Finally, tobacco abuse will lead to unhealthy bodies and follow by many other young generations.
Apart from the practical disadvantages expressed above, I believe that frequent tobacco users can also meet change in their personalities, not only on their health and finances. Many people have difficulty meeting the responsibilities of their jobs and work. Others may not keen on their school and work compared to the time being when they are not addict to tobacco. Moreover, continued cigarette use can trigger crime base on their changing behaviors,
In conclusion, tobacco brings so many drawbacks for it users and it is obvious that the drawbacks are far outstrip the merits. That is why I believe that it should be illegal to use cigarette and the government should enact law to deal with this.
