Discuss and opinion – Topic : Some people think that it is best to live in a horizontal city
while others think of a vertical city.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.??
It is true that many people believe that living in a house is the most comfort, whereas others think that buying an apartment block is a better choice. In my opinion, I like to live in an apartment more than in a house.
On the one hand, there are a variety reasons why people tend to choose living in a vertical city. The first reason is that residents can save amount of money for building services such as paying less for public environment fees and the parking fee. It is also known that these fees are continualy increase. Therefore, living in a house can economize these service fees. Secondly, a person who living in a residence instead of choosing a flat is more safer when emergencies occur. For example, in a case of fire, inhabitants are living at a house will easy to escape from fire than who are living in an apartment block of the high building.
On the other hand, Living in a horizontal city is beneficial in some ways. Firstly, It will make the city have more space for public usage such as school building projects, hospital project which is starved. Furthermore, people have a tenement feel more convenient because It accompanies by a range services which is located at the first floor of each building such as nursery school, fitness services. This also leads to increasing life quality of residents.
In conclusion, It seems evident that both living in a house and choosing to buy an apartment block choices each have its own unique advantages. I still prefer to live in a flat more than in a house.
