Some people believe that a crime is a result of social problems and poverty, others think
that crime is a result of bad person’s nature. Discuss both views and give your opinion
ANSWER
Some people think that social issues and poverty is major causes of crime, whereas others believe that crime is originated from inborn bad characteristics. From my view point, crime is consequence of society problems and poverty.
On the one hand, there are numerous reasons why people believe that crime is proceed from innate bad nature. Firstly, an individual who is cruel turn into a career of crime more easily than a kind person. For example, children usually bullying other girls or boys at school tend to turn into violent criminal in future. The other reason is that people have bad innate bad nature such as laziness and selfishness could also breed future wrongdoers. For instance, laziness and selfishness are always tempted by enjoys without working hard to make an honest living, this leads to who have inborn bad nature are more likely to break the law.
On the other hand, it seems to me that it is also reasonable to say that crime is result of social issues and poverty. Firstly, unemployment is a major reason in increasing crime rate. Employees are pushed into road to crime when they can not seek any job. As a result, job market are more and more violently competitive, but the government can not solve the unemployment for thousands of graduated student annual. Besides that, commodity prices continually enhance, this leads to workers can not afford enough money to make ends meet. Therefore, they may be tempted to pursue illegal activities just to support themselves and their families.
In conclusion, it is obvious that both problems in our society and inborn bad nature are causes of crime. I would argue that criminal road is impacted more from issues in our society.Please kindly check!
