getting old without children

Having kids is such a great thing for every family, but it is also a considerable pressure. Thus, in many Western countries or even around the world nowadays, couples tend not to want to have children; which has both pros and cons.
On the one hand, there are various reasons why not having a child is a significant mistake of parents. Initially, it is proved in many scientific researches that unless couples give birth, their bodies cannot create some special hormones which are responsible for maintaining the sense of love. Therefore, they may break up and divorce easily. Secondly, everybody has to get old someday, so if they do not have kids, there is no one to take care of them when being old, sick and incapable of earning money. Furthermore, everyone tend to feel lonely at the end of their life for many reasons, so kids seem to be the unique happiness source for them at that age. Hence, it is so terrible and hard to figure out how much the sad is if having no children around when being the elderly.
On the other hand, despite some drawbacks, this tendency also has many benefits. Firstly, to nurture kids, parents have to pay for their offsprings a high price of food, school, clothes and many other things. By contrast, without children, they can totally decrease their financial burden and have an easier life. Moreover, currently, life becomes quite harder, no kids is a great condition for anyone to spend more time on work and can be promoted easily in their career.
In conclusion, not having kids has not only advantages but many disadvantages too. Therefore, couples must consider more before having the final decision.
