It is argued that children should not spend almost time on reading children story books due to these books’ uselessness. Thus, kids are encouraged to join in other useful activities. From my point of view, this opinion is wrong partly.
On the one hand, there are various reasons why reading childish books benefits children a lot. Initially, reading books for kids can totally create the interest in reading, which makes kids be fond of and remain to read books, even other kinds of book when getting older. In this way, they can study and gain knowledge well because of their reading inhabitant. Secondly, books for children are usually colorful and have a lot of shapes and pictures. Hence, if children spend time on access with these at an early age, it definitely supports kid’s imagination and creative thinking a lot.
On the other hand, despite a number of advantages, reading childish books a lot also affects negatively, if children do not know how to balance time for this work reasonably. In fact, books for children tend to have a simple content which is totally not practical and just can be use so little in real life. Therefore, spending too much time on this work is such a wasting-time thing. Hence, instead of a huge amount of time taken to read children books, kids should also do other activities such as some outdoor activities or housework that are more meaningful and useful.
In conclusion, reading childish books is not wrong in some ways. Nevertheless, kids should manage time for this activity sensibly.
