Children today play very violent games. This must be the reason for the increase in violence and crime in most major cities of the world.
What are your opinions on this?

There are a lot of heated debates that the increasing crime rates in metropolis these days comes from the popularity in children’s playing violent games. In my opinion, although this would be a part of the reasons, other factors such as families, medias should behave well in daily life to prevent springs from exposing to other kinds of violence.

Undeniably, the boom of computing technology, especially game industry, in this day and age have created more opportunities for children to access violent games. World-class violent games such as GTA V, Counter Strike are attracting thousands of children after their school time. The attraction of shooting, killing, and raping others in these games are making players to be more impatient and aggressive in daily life. Addicted players can simulate these activities into real life, and thus, commit misconduct and crime rates have been increased.

On the other hand, other kinds of violence that come from families, medias could be a major contributor to children’s thought. For example, uncontrollable actions from parents in arguments could affect their springs’ behavior in making children to loose their belief in life, and become to be more forceful day-to-day. Moreover, broadcasters usually stream martial arts like violent movies, or boxing games might also be a part of this result. Viewers and especially children then try to follow their idols’ actions and could lead to serious consequence. Therefore, it is important that family and society should give hands to reduce detrimental effects of their actions.

In conclusion, violence now is a persistent problem in our world today. Besides having some strict regulations on violent games, families and medias should also try to reduce the amount of violence in daily life.
