Chữa bài IELTS Task 2
More and more young people from wealthy countries are spending a short time in communities in poorer countries doing unpaid work such as teaching or building houses. Why? Who benefit more from this, the community or these young people?
Over the past few decades, globalization and internationalization have been fostered in leaps and bounds, gradually eliminating geographical barries among countries. Thanks to this, young generation seizes opportunities to do volunteers in some under-developed nations. From my perspective, this is a win-win trend for both youngsters and host countries.
First of all, the reasons behind this popularity are the need to explore the world from juveniles and the poor status of some areas. After a long time of continuous study, new graduates usually desire to take a gap year for travelling or volunteering to broaden their horizons and some international unpaid-work campaigns can meet this demand. Besides, notwithstanding the prosperity of wealthy countries, poverty still exists in their poor counterparts. In these regions, free-of-charge labor sources are really necessary, which can come from their developed neighbors.
Needless to say, these progams will certainly benefits both juveniles and help recepients. In terms of adolescents, oversea volunteer programs are good stepping stones for them to discover the world, besides accumulating essential experience. If they can work for an exotic country, they will have chances to learn new cultures that are totally different from their own traditions and to witness worldwide natural legacies which they only saw through the sreen previously. Moreover, their foreign languages and soft skills are enhanced markedly after a short-term period of cross-boundary working. When it comes to help receiving communities, the literary rate of their citizens will increase significantly as a result of aforementioned campaigns. More houses and other infrastructures will be also constructed freely to facilitate their life, which contributes to eradicating difficulties in such communities.
In conclusion, not only can the youth be mature themselves, but the status of illiteracy and homeless will be also alleviated from such cross-country volunteer activities.Attachments:
