The graph below shows the differences in wheat exports over three different areas.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The line graph compares the amount of wheat exported in three different areas between 1985 and 1990 measured in millions of tonnes.
It is clear that Canada and European community overall witnessed a rise in wheat export from 1988 onwards. By contrast, that of Australia shows a downward trend.
In 1985, Canada is the biggest wheat-exporting country, with nearly 20 millions of tonnes of wheat were exported. The number of wheats exported in European community was lower, at about 17 milions of tonnes. Only 15 millions of tonnes of wheat were exported by Australia.
In the following five years, The figure for wheat exports in Canada fell slightly to 17 millions of tonnes before reaching its peak of 25 millions of tonnes in two years later. In 1990 Canada exported 15 millions of tonnes. There is a gradual increase the amount of wheat exported by European community, rising to over 20 millions of tonnes 1990 after remaining stable at round 15 millions of tonnes in the previous years. However the yield of wheat exported by Australia decreased to about 10 millions of tonnes, a drop of 5 millions of tonnes.
