With recent developments in technology like e-books, some people feel that printed media like books, newspapers, and magazines will soon be a thing of the past. Others feel that these forms of media will never disappear. What is your opinion?

In recent years, although technology is developed rapidly with a variety of new produces such as ipads, smartphones and so on, It is still believed that newspapers or magazines will exist forever. However, in my opinion, traditional printed media will soon be replaced by modern equipment.
There are two main reasons why some people think that books and newspapers will still last. Firstly, the old generations are fond of buying and reading a newspaper, which has become their habits since the previous decades. Besides, their eyes are not bright enough to access the Internet from smartphones or computers. In addition, it is obvious that e-books can not contain all of the books’ knowledge in the world. E-books are also unable to offer everybody the pleasure of touching the papers when reading a book, which you can not find on computer screens.
Nonetheless, the inventions of up-to-date science will take the place of traditional printed media due to its significant growth. First of all, technology supplies people the fastest way to update information at any time instead of waiting for the publishing tomorrow newspaper. For instance, such hi-tech devices as tablets or smartphones allow everybody easily access the Internet read e-books or news. In addition, because reading online is free, everybody is capable of saving a lot of money for purchasing books. As a result, recent years saw a dramatic increase in the figure for people who preferred using modern media to holding a newspaper or a magazine.
In conclusion, in spite of the advantages of printed media, I am personally favour of the prospect that the benefits offered by hi-tech will bring the disappearance of books, newspapers and magazines.
