Chữa bài IELTS Task 1
The bar chart illustrates the total amount of rainfall in average calculated in millimetres in a course of one year in two cities: Moscow and San Francisco.
Overall, it is noticeable that the weather in two urban areas is vastly opposite. While it usually rains heavily in the summer in Moscow, the latter experiences heavy rain in the winter.
In January, while the total quantity of rain is roughly 120 millimetres, which is the highest number in San Francisco, that figure for Moscos is only about a half of that. However, just two months later, the level of rainfall in the US city dropped significantly just above 80 millimetres, whereas there is just a slight decrease in the amount of rainfall in Moscow. By May, the volume of rain in the capital of Russia has outweighed that in San Francisco about 40 millimetres by average.
The largest volume of rain recorded in Moscow is around 90 milimetres in June. The amount then fluctuates for five months at more or less 70 milimetres before falling into a decline in November.Attachments:

Thank you for the reply.
Firstly, the guidebook provides expressions and different phrases, however, with a different context, these expressions or phrases can be awkward or redundant. In spite of that, if you insist on following the guidebook word by word, that’s also fair to me.
Secondly, I was aware that both ‘millimeter’ and ‘millimetre’ are okay. However, your last two usages of the word were missing a second ‘l’ (as it should be ‘millimetre’ or ‘milimetre’). It seems that I have made a mistake by using American English while correcting you. For that, I sincerely apologize. Nevertheless, I still maintain that there were spelling mistakes in the last paragraph of your essay.
Thirdly, regarding verb tense, it is just a suggestion. If you think your verb tense choice is superior to my suggestion, please go ahead and ignore it.
Furthermore, the grammatically correct expression is ‘before+ gerund” -> ‘before falling” or “before declining”. “Before to decline” is grammatically incorrect. Like I mentioned, your word choice is not wrong, but it can be made more precise. Similar to your verb tense choice, if you think your usage is perfectly fine, please ignore my suggestion.
Moreover, “you are done” is a perfectly correct expression. Please point out why you think it’s wrong?
Lastly, I don’t usually address this but calling strangers “babe” online is inappropriate, at least to me and I find your remarks towards my English skills increadibly rude. If you think my corrections were poor and wish to have better comments, please feel free to ask for a different member to correct your work (we have a great team here) and leave CONSTRUCTIVE criticism so that I can improve.
Thank you
Dear Ma’am,
I’m so sorry for making you sad.
