1. The charts below show the levels of participation in education and science in developing and industrialized countries in 1980 and 1990.
The three bar graphs illustrate the information of educationalists and researchers of developing countries and industrialised countries in 1980 and 1990. The first chart gives information about the number of years they have taught, whereas, the second chart compares how many scientists and technicians per 1000 people and the last chart shows the expenditure on research and development in the given period.
Overall, it can be seen that industrialised countries seem to possess more experienced specialist as well as invest more money in education and science than developing countries.
According to the first graph, the average schooling years of developed countries was more than 8 years, compared with only 2.5 years of that of developing countries. 10 years later showed a growth trend in the figure of all the researched countries, at 10 years and 3 years, respectively. Similarly, the second chart experienced a rising tendency. However, while the number of scientist and technicians in industrialised countries increased gradually in the given period, only a small rise had been witnessed in the data for developing countries, from 40 peoples to 70 peoples in the former and 10 to 18 peoples in the latter.
In term of the last chart, the funding for science and education of developed countries surged from 150 billion USD to 300 billion USD in the 10-years period. By contrast, their counterparts had seen a decline to nearly a half of that in initial year.[7/2/2019, 12:13:54 AM] Cám ơn các bạn!
